Tuatha Dé Danann (Too-ah-ha Day Dah-nahn) – Magical beings who came to Erin after the fall of Atlantis, some known as Sidhe or Sìth, often mistaken as faerie or fae, which originated as a new concept introduced in the sixteenth century. In Destiny Cycle, the author uses the mortal reference of fairies to depict the Tuatha.
